Short answer
DigiBoox is a Dutch bookkeeping package aimed at freelancers, formerly DigiBTW, with a free plan for invoicing only and a complete plan at €15 a month on an annual subscription, a 30-day free trial and apps for iOS and Android. It is the only one of the five that states no cap on your number of entries, and you can hire a bookkeeper alongside it for €66 a month. For the income tax return it has its own step-by-step wizard; filing that return costs €130 (€210 together with your tax partner). The only language DigiBoox states is Dutch, in a Dutch and a Belgian edition. The booxx package costs €19 a month and works in five languages — Dutch, English, Polish, Hungarian and Romanian — down to the ledger accounts and the outgoing email. If you are a freelancer, read Dutch comfortably and only want to invoice without paying for it, DigiBoox is cheaper and more direct; if you do not read Dutch, that is where it stops. DigiBoox also keeps the books of a private limited company (bv), but does not mention annual accounts or a KvK filing file. If you want to switch, you import your audit file (XAF) here.
